My name is Kendra Nickerson—nice to meet you.

I offer the unique perspective of having worked in advertising agencies and client side prior to starting Page Press Marketing in 2009. 

In advertising, I worked in three roles (account services, brand strategy, media) across four divergent agencies. On client side, I built and helped grow Aritzia’s marketing department (I was the department’s sole employee to start!).

The agency world taught me how to juggle multiple projects and ramp up on knowledge quickly for all types of businesses. At Aritzia, I took a deep dive into the fashion retail market and learned how to collaborate across numerous departments while creatively expanding a then-unknown brand across Canada.

Let’s be honest: The sales & marketing industry doesn’t have the best reputation for truthfulness. It’s known for smoke & mirrors, hype, and skillful omissions. I prefer to be a no-nonsense marketing partner, one that acts with integrity and refuses to sell clients on things that they don’t need.

My time and your money isn’t spent on producing slick project proposals & presentations. I keep the process lean without the extras, translating into cost-effective, agile marketing services. External costs are lowered by engaging freelancers or seamlessly collaborating with your team.

This keeps my time fixed on turning around the real work.

Despite a broad marketing background, I no longer wear all the hats. When a project requires services beyond my core offering, I’ll team up or refer to talented specialists like graphic designers and web developers.

Similarly, I focus my business on Canadian B2C companies in retail and professional services.
